West suburbs of Chicago here.

 

Hey, I was on the North Central area of the board, and they were trying to put together a meet somewhere in Wisconsin, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

I suggested that a good multi-state location to meet would be Galena, Illinois. It's historic, great scenic roads, near Iowa and Wisconsin, and great, flat empty roads to cruise on in Iowa also. And the Field of Dreams site is only 45 minutes from Galena.

It takes me just under 3 hours to get to Galena from the western suburbs.

Maybe we can see who would be interested in meeting next spring? To give people time to plan and save? Seems like there could be people from many states.

Galena sounds cool with me it's about a 2 hr ride I think for me. I will be watching for a g2g and if so send me a PM
