I think it was wrong for the R.O.T.M. to have been invaded, some thought it was a GOOD thing.

Nope, just willing to admit it when I am. Thought I was but I wasn't. No harm, no foul.

 

id did not enter the rotm because I was too busy with my stepfather and other bits of life. I had felt as much a member of the mid-central as any other. ( I as most of you know live in IND.) My region wasn't looking like anyone wanted to do any get togethers or runs. I was welcomed as a member of the mid central by many of the members at the august run. Due to life appening on the oct date of our next gtg, i will not be able to attend. (erin's 9th birthday) I personally thought that i would have been welcomed to participate in the rotm if I had been wanting to do so. I want to be involved in a good fun region. right now we have neither. If ANYof the members of this region does not want my participation, so be it. I feel that this region needs to be a little more accepting to nearby members or other HHR owners who live near the region like myself. I was drawn here by the good people. maybe those good people will realize when they may be wrong about somethings. I am wrong all of the time. I can admit it. Cecil

 

Pizzaman, It seems that the concept of you can "visit" vs "you live here" is whats lost in all the rheotoric.
I can invite you over for a weinnie roast, we can have a good time, but at the end of the day, you`ve got to go home, you`re not sleeping in my bed.
If you say ,But I`m too tired or But you beds so nice and soft, or it`s big enough for all of us, I don`t want you to be my friend SO BAD ,that I`m gonna let you stay. Apparently, there are members who would grab their pillow and go sleep on the couch. Not B/B

 

my problem is... why do we have to exclude the people who are active in the region, but may live over the "line" that was thrown together. the 3 closest states to chicago are in 3 different regions. i am sure that jonyyb never intended to have the borders so strictly enforced. hell in the region indiana is in parts of it are nearly double the mileage from me as is the mid central. I don't get this....

 

I hope we're on our way to healing also. In just reading over everything, I have come to the conclusion that it appears that some people in our "Mid-Central" region want to make sure that the boundry lines drawn up are strictly enforced! We have quite a few people who want to be involved in all the activities done in this region, but because they are over the "line" drawn up by the creators of this site, some people who live in this same region, do not want them! For the people who want to be involved, this region is closer and more atractive and easier for them to get too.

I just want to have everyone get along! My mom always told me, If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!
