Looking for Illinois HHR’s
 

Hey everyone!

I live in Minooka Ill, Just 8 miles southwest of Joliet. I would like to meet up with some of you. I’m a motorcycle rider… So I know all the back roads for a nice country drive to Starve rock forest preserve. Maybe we could also hike on the trails and have a picnic?

Welcome.... Starved Rock has seen two get togethers so far and many more to come. Do a search for starved rock and see the fun.

Well if you haven't been at one of these events this is going to be another great one to see just how we are together !!! You gotta' see Stevflo and Z-Man, two respected men in everyday life, running around in wigs and crazy hats...the rest of us, well you can more or less figure we are going to do weird stuff by our appearances...hahaha.
Food, just check out the builds on most of us guys and you won't have any question about whether or not we can cook !!! The menu is normally pretty varied too...Italian sausages, gumbo, chilli, gourmet burgers, desserts, all kinds of great trimmings too and this time a hog...wanna' bet that one of us ends up with an apple in their mouth before this one is over...
Friends, food and a fire...yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I double dog dare you to get cooked with an apple!!!!!

Ya know Pat, we plain old forgot the Go-kart race...

FYI-my husband and I, along with out '06 Spring Edition, are located in the fine city of East Moline (which is part of the Quad-Cities, right where Interstate 80 crosses the Mississippi River into Iowa!)

I was born in Joliet and transplanted to So-Cal:thumb: (1969)

But, the Minooka caught my eye because I have a buddy out here from there.
Larry Grote ring a bell? He is a great guy and grew up in Minooka and still has family there.

I’m a transplant from Elmhurst, so I can’t say I know him. However if he is feeling home sick I will be glade to post up some photos of the area. It’s awesome around here… :smile:

ICU the pics are excellent, I have been at places on the canal and it is really cool...I have also rode the paths from Ft. Sheridan/Great Lakes naval Station all the way down to the city...great ride...
