I'm following this group also (MId Central). I sure hope I can meet up with some of them on my New Years 2 week trek towards Florida from California in my HHR!

If your travels take you through the Quad-Citites (it's where interstate 80 crosses the Mississippi River from Iowa into Illinois) give the Taylor's a hollar! We'd LOVE to meet up with you!

 

You may have to drive around for a few days to get to us. Ot how about we plan something and we can meet ya somewhere? Any idea what route you might take?

Dec 24th -Jan 1, 07, company closed.
I have tentatively scheduled PTO (personal time off) Jan 2-7, 07.
So, for that 2 weeks total, my itinerary is open. My path of travel, unknown. Destination goal is Florida. My desire is to just do like I did in my VW Bus last year, point and drive! I have to be home by Jan 8th for work.

I'm going to check with the Pres of the company I work for to see if there might be any changes to the company holiday closure. We are going through some changes here soon and just want to keep my options open.
