I was thinking about a G2G at a local St Louis park would be nice, but that may be better for the fall due to August heat. If you don't mind an opinon from a distant local

How about a BBQ at a park then, we could get a pavillion. Everyone could bring something to eat. I'm not real familiar with many parks, I know Creve Coeur Park is nice, but tough to get a Pavillion and good parking.

I could check Vago Park, they have a couple good size pavillions with good parking, grills and near by playgrounds for any kids.

I love Vago Park...

Beautiful setting... not so much traffic...

If you check Vago Park... make sure you mention you are a resident of Maryland Heights...

There is also a state park and river front BBQ area that you can reserve up in the Grafton IL area. Cruise through the park, scenic picture area, and we you could take a couple of the ferrys.. Of Fairys if your friends want to come along. HA!

Sorry all, I got the date wrong....Sunday August 19th.

Grafton sounds good to me, what's the name of the park, we'd have to reserve a shelter I'm guessing?
