I saw it on Rides the other day & looked it up & glad to see I hadn't missed it & This would be the first time for me , I'm trying to talk a friend of mine to come along so the drive won't feel so long . )

where should we meet ? I'm gonna try and park on the roof of COBO . my friend has never been to Detroit so the roof will give him a view of the city.

Darren and I have never been to Detroit either so we're kind of going in blind. Any suggestions for cheap hotels? That sounds like an amazing view place to see the city...What day are you guys gonna be there? I think we're planning on going for sure Saturday.

As far as hotels go ???? you could check out the rates at Greektown casino the people mover stops there and it could take you to the COBO center. we were planning on going on Sun. 27th. ( people mover is a monorail type train cost 50cents each time you get on.)
as far as other Hotels ???? I plan on driving up and back in the same day . check Hotels .com and other sites.
