I don't like most photos like that, but that one does it for me, has a nice feel and balance. You should send it to adorama and have it blown up to 20x30. Right now they have a sale on them for $12.95....
Going to the topaz website now to see if they make a plugin for aperture, i try and avoid photoshop if i can now...
looks good. is it a true HDR program combining multiple exposures, or does it just mess with the settings of one photo?

Topaz adust is a semi-snazzy interface to dial in filters your photo proggy that accepts PS plugins already has. For true HDR, Photomatix is the defacto standard, but it has some overly aggressive querks that need to be beaten down with a stick. So far however, it is the only program I've found that can make a psuedo-HDR from a single RAW file. IMO it does a really fine job with this and even better than the multiple exposure engine which is horribly noisey. Now if I understand the leet, creating an HDR with Photomatix and tweaking it with Topaz Adjust is "Da Bomb."
BTW, I don't use photoshop either. I hate all things Adobe, always have. Their UI's are gawd-aweful. I've been a Painshop Pro weenie since day one. Almost 20 years now I think.
