The plan is to meet at the McDonalds (2102 River Avenue) right outside of Cedar Point at 9 am. Leave at 9:30 am for Cedar Point Gates that open at 10 am. Midday lunch (2-ish) outside of the park so we can get a cruise in and then back to the park for the rest of the day. Park closes at 11 pm. There is a broad range of hotels (check www.sandusky.com) to choose from. However, if you are picky you want to reserve a room way ahead of time as Cedar Point is a popular Vacation Destination.

Ok. For those of you that have never been to Cedar Point here are a few tips to making the most out of your trip.

1. Wear comfortable shoes. You will be walking alot.
2. Wear comfortable clothes.
3. If you plan on riding any water rides be sure to have a change of clothes handy in your car.
4. Bring a fanny pack / hip pack. You will want it to put your keys, money, glasses (yes, you don't want these flying off on a coaster), etc.
5. Bring sunglasses and sunblock.
6. If you get motion sick or queezy stomach be sure to bring Dramamine.
7. Disposable cameras are best. You don't want to lose or bang your exspensive camera on rides.
8. Have cash. While ATM's are available you will be charged a fee.
9. Be ready to have some fun!!!

Here's the thought: The park opens at 10 am. All attendees meet at the McDonalds right outside of the park at 9 am. At 10 am we ride in. Maybe have a mid day lunch outside the park so we can get a cruise in and then head back to the park for the rest of the day.
