Yeah,Birmingham is a fancy area.So is West Bloomfield,which is further up Woodward.But that's mainly a "bedroom community",not as much in the way of fancy stores.The houses there are fancier than Birmingham!Many of the GM execs live in those areas.Many of the Ford guys live in the Grosse Pointes,on the other side of town(which makes no sense,but there you go).

 

Yeah, I know Grosse Pointe is a REALLY nice area!!!

And Dustin, I saw that too last night! Didn't see Erebus, but I saw a couple. I was tired, and had to go to bed, couldn't catch it all./

 

Eric,you'd be surprised at just how old and plain some parts of Grosse Pointe Park really are( because part of it borders a very crummy part of Detroit).And how,in just in the span of a few blocks,it goes from plain to fancy.

 

Yeah, I've been through there before, just to look at some of the houses!!!

 

Might have another haunted place for us to visit in the next couple of years. Last year we went to a Haunted House just outside of Jonesville which is the next town over from us. It wasn't anything spectacular but we both mentioned how they had plenty of room to grow since they are out in the country with lots of barns. Well guess what?!? That is exactly what they plan on doing:

"Darkside Acres is located on 38 acres of land with over 70,000 indoor square footage. Within the next few years there will be 14 attractions to visit."

They have already expanded some to 3 attractions and have included an area where you get to shoot zombies with paintballs!!! We might check this out this weekend

 

I was watching that show on travel channel last night and they were talking about a place near Cleveland, Ohio called the 7 Floors of Hell. the things they were showing in the interview was pretty cool lookin. I only got to see part of the 2 hour long show but they showed the place in cleveland, a place in misouri, new york, and erebus, i fell asleep after they showed the erebus clip.I know they were advertising a 7 hour long show that it sound like a ghost walk thing like what they do at the ohio state reformitory thing in mansfield.

Dustin, the one in Cleveland is the one I mentioned when we were down in Toledo. It sounds like a good one to go to.
The one in Jonesville just started last year. If they can expand to the full 70,000 indoor square footage it will be by far the largest Haunted House in the United States. Not to mention all the outdoor space they have as well. We will be keeping our eye on this one, especially since it is so close to us.

 

I will go to it, lol. hey the link I just posted for the show on travel channel, you can watch and chat online with the people while they are inside the building. God how I love the month of October,lol. I think I am goin to try and goto The Haunted Hydro in Fremont Ohio this coming weekend, it about a 45 minute drive from my place and Ive never been to it in the past, and its been around for quite along time.This year is the 20th anniversary for this palce.
