The best is probably just to meet right at the Museum. Not much else around there. I have attached a map of the Museum Campus. The area is yellow would be a good spot to park. Its away from the crowd and also has a nice brick and wrought iron fence behind it for a good picture taking background.

Sounds like a plan sjssk Do they have food on site or would we have to find a nearby restaurant for lunch?

Henry Ford Museum

The Michigan Café
Open daily 9:30am to 4:30pm
A fun-filled atmosphere takes diners inside the diversity of the people, places and products of Michigan. The Great Lakes-inspired cafeteria-style menu features regional dishes sure to please everyone. Accessible without Museum or Village admission.

WienermobileTM Café
Open daily 9:30am to 4pm
Come experience some of the country’s favorite concoctions and see the wacky, iconic vehicle for which it was named. Casual seating near the authentic 1950s Oscar Mayer Wienermobile ™.

Museum dining hours may vary seasonally.

I like the Wienermobile cafe. The real Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is parked in front of it!!!!!! The Michigan cafe is a more upscale menu.

I think we need to also invite our Canadian friends from Ontario over. There are quite a few HHR's running close to the Michigan/Ontario Border like my buddy jerrbear!

P.S. Here is a map of the Museun...

Not far away, on Michigan Ave. there are a few restaurants. Cheli's Chilli Bar(owned by Chris Chelios), Mongolian BBQ, Pizza Poppolis to name a few.
