just bought a Hydraulic Strut Spring Compressor and would like to try it out, if anyone has a Complete Strut/Spring Assembly cheap or even better free let me know......Lansing, Mi. area.

Search LKQ, call them and ask if they might be scraping a strut spring assy.

 

There in Chicago, I need something closer to Lansing..... my plan is to do a Youtube on this compressor. Thanks anyways.

There is a location around the corner from me here in Belleville, MI (used them many times). There is a location in Brighton, Holland, etc. Also contact Schrams, they scrap vehicles for GM.

There are also a number of yards around Lansing that should have parts (lived there 22 years and visited many). Reasonable rates as well. Shroyers comes to mind as one, Heights Auto Parts is another.

Heck, even hit the Chevy dealer in town, tell them what you plan, they may loan you an assembly. Be creative, all they can say is "No".

 

thanks for the links, I might check out some dealers as well as some repair shops to see if there scraping out any strut assemblies.
