*Mini* SoCal Hijack -- how far are ya'll from U of MI/Ann Arbor? Started a new job with lots of travel opps and will be there 3/9-3/11 for an event (then going to Philly for a conference until the 14th) -- would dig meeting some of ya'll in MI.

Started you a new thread so it wasn't lost in the other thread It's a little less than an hour and half for us. Depending on our schedules we might be up for a meet up. Unfortunately it's during the week so I don't know how many others would be able to make it.

Silly boy ... Will tell you more of the details once I know. This new job has me going to MI for 3 days--unfortunately in the middle of the week (3/9-11)--and then out to PA for another 3. I did see U of MI has hotels on campus, so may not need to rent an HHR -- I'll post more info once I know.

I hope it stops snowing!

the AA area is great, I was very just a bit ago and have a lot of friends there. My father in law works for the university, flint campus, but he drives to AA a lot. Too bad it is in the middle of the week.

 

Pfft! Kentucky is a pretty good state if you ask me. Better than WV anyway. :P

I like KY -- it very pretty, folks are nice, food amazing. Still on the fence about moving there (I didn't like the snow), but have a couple of years to think about it.

Alas, not going to have much opportunity to meet up with folks next week ... get in late, busy, then leave very early for PA.

Hope it's not snowing in Detroit next week!

Been in the mid 40's for the past week. You will probably only see the white stuff where it's been piled up from clearing the runways. Supposed to be 46 when you get in.
