Anyone member in KY? Just curious...

 

My other half is from Erlanger but I made her move to Chicago so I could stop spending all my cash at Newport on the Levee in Cincinnati.

 

I just got my ride yesterday and I'm stoked! I love this car and can't wait to begin the transformation. I'm originally from L.A. so this ride will be kicking it Ol' Skool very quickly! I knew I could never get a '49 Merc. But this bad boy will have the look and all the attitude!

 

Welcome to the club homie! I'm originally from San Fernando, LA as well. None the less. We'll be looking forward to your pics of the transformation of your HHR. I made mine a bit of classic with new school. Ie. old school scripts vs. LED tail lights... But I did take it back to Cali with the LED light kits underneath

 

So what's the chance the the only guys from Kentucky so far on here are Chicanos originally from Cali! LOL!

I've got a good hook up back in Cali, so I'll be getting some parts shipped out here after i recover from the down payment I made on this guy. I'm looking to do the rolled visor, eye lids for the head lights, maybe some whiskers, and eventually some whitewalls with mini-moon wheels. I can't wait!

Welcome... Maybe I should of called this the GLA, Greater Louisville Area being that there is a whole other city a stone throw acoss the river...
