Joe is in Norfolk

 

Well, Joe's "residence" is in Norfolk, but I have spent most of the summer dealing with failing health with my 92+ y.o. Mother in NY, trips for my business, helping an old friend in PA with his and a dying old dog. Other than that, all is fine!

Just haven't been on the forum much, IOW.

Let's shoot for a meet in about a month. An awesome cruise, with great pic opportunities is Colonial Parkway, connecting Yorktown, Williamsburg and Jamestown is suggested for a cruise.

For food, we have two options:

1. Do a picnic nearby. That would be finding a good place, plus everyone having something to contribute.

2. End up at a good place to eat and share stories, etc.

Let's keep this thread going and everyone offer their ideas and we will make it happen!!

 

 

sounds great set a date and place to meet.and if you want to get a car show in i and my club are hosting a 2 day show at greatwolf lodge in williamsburg sept 7,8 open to all makes and model's i'll have my HHR there and my other one,to compete

Hey, mityslow, how about posting up more info on that meet next weekend? Hours, etc. And some may not know where the Great Wolf Lodge is either.

Others, pay attention to his response and think about meeting up! Besides BS'n about HHRs and women, we could discuss a meet soon!

 

Speedline car club is hosting Cruisin' with a Heart and Speedline's annual CHKD car show September 7 & 8. This is OPEN TO ALL MAKES AND MODELS & BIKES. Show will be at the GREAT WOLF LODGE, 549 E Rochambeau Dr., Williamsburg, VA 23188. Friday is Meet and Greet. Friday evening will be a glow off competition. Saturday car show. Sunday checkout. thanks rodabare here is a copy of the flyer we are handing out .For the light show on Friday night we will have a 1st and second place and the awards for the night show are one of a kind.sat.show is open to all makes and models with a lot of trophies to be handed out ,we have a lot of venders at the show and some.it will be a good time for everyone i hope to see some of my fellow HHR's people come to the show.

p.s if you arrive friday and plan to stay at great wolf we will have security there in the parking lot for fri.night.
