Looked everywhere for the stock bolts or grommets. Could not find any.Decided to make my own.
Ace hardware near me has these "automotive" stuff which are m6-1.0 (the same thread on top of the valve cover for the air box bolts) and the other side is another size (don't remember, and doesn't really matter when you're in the store)
Then I just used some rubber and metal washers.
I like the nut better than the torx that has to be accessed through the inside. I haven't done the front yet but it feels like the nut could also be used there and would only require turning a wrench a few times to remove.
The tall bolt you see with the big washer was a test. It's too loose for the plastic. I moved it from the back. I would still prefer the bolt style like the first 2 pics.
