Angry Forge BPV Help!

Hey all
so I get my nice new black SS and am loving it, has the GMTU and K&N, so figured next was Forge BPV. Order it, get it, begin the fun process of install, which threads here did help! When I get the bottom most bolt started all good, get near the end and strips! https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/images/smilies/duh.gifI did not even get any torque on it, just kept spinning! other 2 bolts went in fine no issues, nice n tight. So after a days worth of driving, check it out n the bolt is starting to back out. it wont catch thread to tighten, but I think I can get it to back out. How bad off am I???https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/imag...n_confused.gif

If you can get it out, find a hardware store and see if they will have the same bolt...

since the base of the Forge is thicker than stock do you think I can go with a longer bolt?

Question is: Is the bolt stripped or the threads on the housing?
If it's just the bolt, get a new bolt and run a tap thru the housing threads to clean them out. If the bolt stripped in the housing, it left some metal shavings in the threaded hole. Gotta clean them out.
If the housing is stripped, you'll have to rethread that. May be able to use a slightly larger diameter bolt.

If the bolt stripped because it was short then a slightly longer bolt may just fix u up.....measure the difference between the two housings and only go that much longer..and dont over torque

ok
I really hope it wont need tapped, that would be a major and costly pain I would think!!
I have driven it the past 2 days with no issues, figured if it was leaking it will throw a code at me. I will yank the bolt and check out the threads and hope it is just the bolt! I guess I should have taken off the inlet rubber adapter that was in the way right below it!
