2007 Panel rear door remote?

Hi just bought my first HHR panel (have two '06 non-panels). Have already learned to hate being required to open the front doors to pop the back doors when loading up the HHR.

I have seen fobs for sale that have the extra rear door buttons but I read online they are for 08 and above. Anyone know if they will work with the 07 panel?

Thanks.

You will have to have them programmed to your panel at the dealership, or a locksmith.
AZ has the fobs and programming kits

Online Owner Manual available from the link in my sig. That would most likely answer the question.

I just checked, it does not! I vaguely recall that the 2007 might be different.

This one claims to work for 2007. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Replacemen...9X0czn&vxp=mtr

In fact, all that I see include 2007 & 2006.

What happens if you push unlock twice and hold for a second?

But if you don't have fobs at all then order up the ones in Donbrew's post

Curious to know, did you find a solution? I bought the GM remotes, didnt work. Bought the 2008 doorlock remote receiver, the one behind the drivers rear 1/4 panel, didn't work. Now buying the 2008 BCM. I also want to have TPMS. I have a Tech2 tool and didn't find any settings to change in the BCM either.

And you are wasting your money.

If I had a clue what year and model and exactly what the problem is I might be able to help.

2007 LS Panel. Rear doors don't open with remote but do with buttons on the dash. Also want TPMS system to alert me when tire pressure is low. See both never came on 2007 but were available on 2008. BCM is different but wiring is the same between 2007 and 2008.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks Rick

Adding TPMS to a car that didn't come with it. I would think you would need more than just a BCM change. Instrument cluster may need to be changed also. I would think the DIC readout program would be different between the 2.

Remote control dock lock receiver is different between the 2007 and 2008. Wiring is the same to the BCM. Changed that. I'm going to assume that the remote door lock receiver communicates with the TPMS sensors wirelessly and the BCM via Class 2 communications. The 2008 BCM is a different part number than the 2006/2007 one and yet the wiring is the same. So once the BCM is changed and the RPO code for TPMS is programmed when it is new it then can communicate with the DIC. The IPC is the same, has the light from the tire pressure warning already so i guess in 2007 they prepared for it. Also when using the Tech 2 for 2007 there are some lists for TPMS but no data. Because the RPO code is not there I don't see anything I think. The only thing I haven't done is to hook up to GM SPS to see if I can turn it on somehow. Oh and according to GM, Instrument panel cluster is the same for 2007/2008 #15950076 and a different one for 2008-20010 #20819145. But then the 2007/2008 changes up to #20819145, so i guess they are all the same. However the panel uses a different one than the 4 door, not sure of the difference.

Thanks for your help Fireman George.

Rick
