ABS Chrome handles

Has anyone ordered the chrome handle ABS plastic covers? They are supposed to look identicle to the chrome handles that come with the 2LT. I am thinking about ordering some and was wondering if anyone was familiar with them or have used them. If so, how well do they hold up? And do you have any photos of them?

No photos but most "chrome" trim is plastic. This would easily fall into this catagory even though they are handles. They'll hold up as long as they are cleaned often though rings and keys will scratch the crap out of'em. Wax them with the car for UV protection against fading. I plan on going black with my handles and am thinking about going this route vs. painting the factory color just cause it's easier to do.

Cool chrome under white?...

I didn't want to have to remove or lose my chrome real LT handles so i purchased black handles and painted them factory white to match and they 3m right over my chrome ones this way i have the best of both worlds if i want to go back in the future.

I just put mine on a few weeks ago off ebay from southeast asia and they look great. I wouldn't be surprised if Chevy sources them from the same place. I wax them with the car and use off-brand windex for a touch up. The kit comes with 3m tape already lining the inside and some kind of liquid 'superglue' type stuff you can rub on to ensure a good seal. The whole car is ABS plastic so what's the big deal with adding more chrome-plastic?
