Center Console Waterfall appearance

I decided to use my free day and paint my Waterfall the same color as my Side Trims and Bezels as well as reroute my interior glow wires.

Heres my outcome. It may be a little too much white but I still like it.

I like what you have done. Now if you will just upgrade that steering wheel and put the radio controls on the right side you'll be all set.

Thank you Oldblue, Blizzard, and JerseyJames. I'll have to check yours out Blizzard. I agree with you 08LaRam. I'm not sure why they decided to put it on the left side in the 1st place.

Thanks DwRed2LT,

Correct! The ceiling light trims are done as well but you cant see them in the photo.

WOW! Me being an HHR Noob, I never knew there was so much customizing on these awesome vehicles. I'm sure glad I broke down and bought one. That dash looks great. What did you use to paint the trim? or was it aftermarket purchase?

Hey Chevy15,

Thanks for the comment! Heck yea man, there are some crazy cool looking HHR's on this site. I like the DIY customizing things so I like these little projects. I used Gloss white Krylon Spray paint for plastics. 3 coats of white and 2 coats of Krylon Gloss clear coat for everything you see that is white. The shift bezel you can just gently pull off as well as the compartment infront of it. The door trims were very time consuming. the masking around it is what takes time. The door handle plugs just snap out and the Light fixtures above are clipped in. The center console trim you can follow a youtube video on how to correctly remove it. Link will be below.
