I was a believer until I saw the reflectors on the fenders changing color too.
Not saying it can't be a possibility, but the poor quality of the video was another red flag for me.
I'll just have to call BS on this video.

Good catch on the reflectors changing color. My vote is for BS. Overhaulin or some other car show would of had it on.

I sell this paint. I also sell Kinnooter valves, left handed screwdrivers and Unicorns.

while I have not seen it for vehicles

Its not as big of a fib as you may think...its called wallsmart nano paint, and you can paint you interior walls with it, and change colors with your smart phone...they just got patented in November, because it is very new technology

And Nissan has been developing it for a few years now.

i didn't catch the marker lights, but then again the whole video i saw was posted on facebook by a buddy.
that vid's almost 3 minutes long and starts with a new challenger before going to this one.
couldn't find that one on youtube, but both "halves" are available.

if it IS bs, it's a cool concept!

I'll just mention this because of the basis of this thread......

Everyone DOES KNOW that chameleon paint is available, right? The type that DOES change color because of the angle of light on the surface. I've seen at least 3 vehicles painted with the product. The one I talked with, a "Humvee" owner, indicated it is terribly expensive and you do not want to know the cost of the total paint job.

Ya I think what we are talking about here is using an electric or magnetic field to alter the color. Nissan was working on using imbedded iron filings that can be aligned in different ways using a magnetic field. I suppose the same could be done using an LCD substrate similar to a flatscreen tv.
