I should have them on the car within the next 2 weeks. Well since I work at a Lincoln dealership, i am buying a Lincoln MKZ as my main car, but i'll still play around with the HHR. I used to build my own hot rod lincolns, they have always been my love.

Very Cool... I had a 1966 Lincoln 2 door back in school. I loved that car.
Kept it covered all week in the garage, & drove my beater. Weekends I was loving life cruising my Linc !!!

Thanks HillsdaleHHR!!
SS fan- You might get a chance, apparently we may not even keep the HHR anymore, so theres the possibility that I might end up selling them..
Sleeper- VERY cool. I've mostly had the Mark series, my favourite has always been the Mark VII.

Can you explain exactly how you separated the lenses? A few have tried and werent able to do it using the oven method.

Well I used a dremel to pull apart the housing from behind the lens, so i had a small part of the housing still attached to the lens. (I had the OEM Factory lights) I used the dremel to go between the housing and the lens to get rid of the sealant, along with a small hand saw and small picking tools. Sounds primative, but I had to work with what I got. Once you have all that done, it pretty much looks like you've completely destroyed the lights. I used Peevlos's thread on how he did his, for reference. Biiiig help

You could have done something like teh new navigators too, that have the horseshoe halo (my term) in the head light. That looks awesome!

Great work!
