Getting SS Pinstriped

I left my 2009 Black SS with the pinstriper yesterday. It's kind of scary...he's real good but when it comes down to it, it's what his crativity comes up with. I'll put some pics on when it's done

I hope he preped the surface ( my guy sprayed windex on the area and wiped it dry to remove any wax ) otherwise it may not set correctly and you may lose it overtime while washing

it happened to me the first set of stripes came off after a good wash last winter.

He's done lots of vehicles so I feel confident that he knows what to do. You can see his work at pinstripechris.com I'm just anxious

Pinstripe FOR THE WIN!

Pinstriping can certainly change the look of a car, or make it stand out. Alot of people thought my 09Black SS looked like a small minivan or somthing, but once they saw the old school looking stripes they got the idea I was going for in my car. Post pics as soon as you get them mike, I can't wait to see what you get

Windex is not the proper way to prep a surface. I hope it lasts for you, because if I saw a guy do that to "prep" one of my cars I would have just got back in my car and drive away.

There are proper solvents used just for that purpose, and Windex isn't one of them.
