Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing how the DRLs work in our cars? I am doing an FX-R projector retrofit soon and I want to mod the headlight using LEDs as DRLs instead of the actual HID bulb.

 

no one...? i know there is a fuse and relay, but i don't want to take apart the fuse box until i know exactly how the wires are run thru.

 

Go to your local dealer, they'll be able to print out the diagram you need.

 

Are you wanting to add light or take it away.

 

If I read that right...I think he wants to re-route the DRL voltage to power some LEDs INSTEAD of the normal low-beam bulb (saving his HID builb)...but still have the low-beam work as designed when the actual headlights are on to power his HIDs.

 

EXACTLY! Like Putter said, I want to re-route the DRL wires to run some accent LEDs in my upcoming project.

And i will try to stop by the dealer to see if they will do that for me.
