Dunno...I'm thinking it would look pretty out of place on my car. Have the chrome package and not many black accents. I like the look of a red lens, personally.

SmoothHHR, go to my gallery and you'll see what the ruby red LEDS look like. Also check out the thread I have called "red hearse on pedders" and you'll see the red IPCW's lit up. Hope that helps you.

Thanks Allex, it does help. If I don't do some custom work, I think I'll go with these. At night, they all look the same, but during the day, I highly prefer the look of the ruby's over the black.

How you liking those type R's? My wife had 2 12" type R's in her Thunderbird SC and SHO. They would pound yer eyes out if cranked up. Had great sound quality to boot.

On an SS, either. On a LT or LS most likely the red. Agree about the combination of the Chrome and Black not working well together unless it is on a black car

I have the red ones as I wanted an upscale stock look. If you want yours to look custom, then go black. I think either would match up well, as the black ones go well with the dark tint on the rear windows.

The Type R's are crazy loud! I love that they produce deep clean bass out of a sealed box. Can't beat them for the price IMO, and yes at times they push enough air to clog my ears, and that's w/ the volume not even 1/2 way up.
