HHR roadster on eBay
Haven't seen this one posted yet on these forums.. Just found this sucker on eBay tonight, thought some of you might appreciate the work done thus far on this one.... (to me, it looks somewhat odd having the door frames the way they are, however, i love the rear doors being welded in and with a few tweaks could be a REAL head turner)

I did not like. Do not accurate.
No balanced portrayal. Kind of like a stump, especially with the door open. The rear doors welded to the body, but interior of doors are not changed, even door handles remain.
In addition, violated safety standards.
It is not enough simply to cut off the roof. For normal production roadster needed: strengthening the frame head-box, strengthening sides (the edges of the bath), arc safety behind the seats. If the pelvis rolls over, will crush the driver as a rat. His body will be grated & smeared on the asphalt like a tomato.
Another - body rigidity, its resistance to twisting. HHR is not a very stable body. Removed the roof - the loss of resistance to twisting and inertial impulses. After some time, a violation of the geometrical parameters of the body, fatigue of metal.
Well, just another ugly.
In short, I do not want to drive this invalid.
My impression: village kids is playing, come The Daddy, kicked *******s of these fools and now trying to get rid of this monster so as not to attract trouble.

Looks like they took a pannel & chopped the roof, I can only hope they reinforced the frame !
would look better with a cover over the rear, tried to make it look like a SSR ?
If it was safe........ I'd drive it . )

Looks Cool
But too many issues for me to deal with. Better off starting over with another one, so I knew it was done right. Fact that he says the bondo is cracking "oh well", I figure things must be twisting already. Or he had no idea how to even bondo, so how many other things were done wrong.
$100 and I'll play around with it..... Guess not bids already above that.
