HID questions.
So, I was looking at DDM's site and they have a HID harness that you can add. I was reading more about the item and they say it isn't necessary for Hi/Lo kits, which is what I plan on buying. Do I still need to get this harness?
For my 06, I purchased the 5000k hi/low kit from DDM. I did not need the wiring kit as the hi/low kit requires an additional power source (what the additional wiring kit adds). I did use the wiring kit for the 5000k lights I put in the fog location. Been several years now and not one single misfire.
For the small additional cost, go with the hi/low kit. But remember, HID's really don't like to be "flashed", so I'd only use the hi function with the lights already on. The hi/low function telescopes in/out of the housing, it's not 2 seperate "bulbs".
