That looks kinda homemade! There might have been a kit a few years back , this may be fabricated from original old 1950's GMC truck grille.

I would say it's made from a non HHR grille because it's wider and taller than the stock grille hole.

This was the car that was one of the 2 HHR's brought down from Detroit for HHRitage Nationals July 24-27, 2008.

Odd. I found a picture from the Nationals and that grille looks a little different.

Nothing on eBay like that! Maybe something like this was used to fabricate it?

That is the same car I saw in Branson, but yes the grill is different as the wider part is opposite. Weird

The one in your picture is nicer looking. I think I found that one on the web.
They told me it was made by some high school kids. Would love to have that grill it makes the car look older.

This is the picture I took of the car in Branson.

The crossbars look like they are just that stick-on chrome covered mouldings that used to be "fashionable" back in the 70's. It came in rolls - and had "chrome" overtop of a semi-flexible black plastic, with double faced tape on the back.

Note how the bars flatten out as they go across the grill openings.

Normally I wouldn't say anything, but IMO it's pretty hideous, and it does look like it was done by some high school kids. Now, if it was a PT Crui...............
