Probably go with these.

I also want to get some Eibach or Goldline springs and drop it to the deck.

Paint the brake calipers, drums, and exhaust black.

Purple LED underbody lights.

Maybe get a body kit.

Upgrade to more of a personal choice rim, as what I have is not quite my style.

Fresh coat of BGM possible.
i looked into body kits before. i have only found two aftermarket on the internet. i think the SS kit is the best looking one available. unless you make your own!

Rear Sway bar? i didnt see that listed anywhere. $100-$200 does pretty good on the HHR

Cold air intake. or hot air as some might say

painting badges are good too. neon purple would work

exhaust headers are good for sound too

I rather like the Razzi one, the only problem then would be figuring out where to mount the front plate, for my state.

Recommendations?

I have been hearing problems from friends with HHR's with cold air intakes giving them engine codes.. Trying not to modify mechanically until after I own this vehicle outright.

painting badges are good too. neon purple would work

Bowties are painted already, and the vehicle has also been de-badged.

exhaust headers are good for sound too

Again, recommendations?

those smoothie rims powder coated red with chrome baby moons and beauty rings would look very cool, a throw back to the early days of hot rodding!! I just rattle can sprayed my factory 16 inch steelies, but I can't mount any hub caps , and up here the scratches from the beauty rings start a rust issue I hate to deal with!

Red would be outside of my taste for color on my car.. Sorry.. I do want to get the smoothies for the vintage look..

Thank you for your input.

I'm with you there , I just saw the tread earlier, we have several HHR's up this way with those smoothies and they have all had the chrome stripped off and powder coated them , first coat the colour of choice then a coat of clear to stop the chalking and fade. I'm to old school the rattle can doesn't hurt the wallet if I decide to change colours. LOL

Oldblue, I suppose I could rattle can it, and deal with it. It wouldn't hurt to touch them up once a show season anyway..

Speaking of rattle canning it, does anyone know where I can get rattle can paint, to match the OEM paint on my HHR?
