I had mine put on by Vertical Coors in Corona, Cal. Go to their web site and you can see my HHR and Fear 1. The doors close tight and my wife is small and doesn't have any problem opening the doors. I think that this is a good case of you get what you pay for. I have had mine on for more than 2 years and I love them. I think they are a lot of fun and they do attract attention. If you don't want attention then for sure don't do this mode

See ya down the road

Just make sure they open out as well as up. I would post the link but the photos of folks who were trapped in (upside down) burning cars with lambo or gullwing doors are really nasty.

My doors do open out and then up. With the body style of the HHR it does not allow you to open out as far. The smoother the side of your vehicle is the wider they open out and the further up the door will move. Now this is with Vertical Doors of Corona, Cal. I don't know about the others.
