Can't tell from photos... are they Brighter than the standard tail lights?
Bright from behind... Anything grabbing the attention from behind, the Better!

Related, is there a LED light for the 3rd Brake light, I've seen some that strobe for 3rd brake light.
Like the Rear Chevy Emblem, where did you find that... was going to remove the bowtie and replace with older signage until I realized the base was also bow tie shaped. The Emblem with older Chevrolet within it is pretty cool.

My advice. Don't change the 3rd brake light bulbs from stock. The cruise control works in conjunction with the 3rd brake light bulbs. I recall some folks changing to LED's, then their cruise control would not work.
Best to leave those alone.

Strobes are illegal in many states. Those sequentially blinking light are illegal too.

Those are things reserved for E vehicles. Just like blue lights.

I used leds in the third brake. They are non canbus LEDs. No problem with cruise control. I don’t have a link to post sadly because they don’t sell them anymore.

Also, the blinking third brake light happens on newer cars when first applying the brakes for a few seconds and then stays solid. I am pretty sure that is controlled by the computer in the car.

I too have seen several new cars have a rapid blink of 3-5 blinks, then solid.

On the LED tail lights, are they substantially Brighter than OEM bulbs... tail lights, brakes.

The cruise control senses the resistance of the CHMSL. Some LEDs need a load resistor to lie to the computer, depends on the LED. I don't know what the definition of "CANBUS LEDS" is, don't know if that means it has a resistor built in or something else.

State law sets the min/max lumens and colors of the lights.

Yeah they use the term CANBUS for LEDs that are not really CANBUS. But yes, CANBUS in the eBay world means added parallel resistance.

The LEDs I chose were equivalent light output. I think they were from JDM ASTAR.

They don’t sell the ones I purchased and I asked them about it and they said they replaced it with a CANBUS version. But added resistance is just wasted power and high heat.

If your cruise control works there must be some resistance already in your circuit. That is among the top ten "problems" reported; if just one of the incandescent bulbs is blown the resistance is too low.

Yes, they are noticeably brighter. Especially the reverse.
