I believe you can wax flat paint as well. You just don't want to polish it too much...

yeah i painted my motorcycle with a flat clear and i wax it all the time. still looks good after about 10 wax jobs

Today I tested a couple of spots with some wax that I had and it didn't really seem to change all that much, it made it a little darker that is about it

Is wax okay for it though, it needs to be protected right just like gloss paint has a clear coat on it. Seems if it wasn't protected bird crap and other stuff would do damage.

This paint is anti maring and uv inihibitors in it. When I got off work the other day and went out to my car I noticed some bird crap and a few other times. It didn't even phase it.

My painter researched the paint, his buddy uses the same paint and told him that the paint job is real popular out in california, but they get big money for it.
