Murdered out hhr
That looks killer! Thank you for posting. We are doing the same to our panel then going to wrap the lower half with some of my custom art work with a vinyl wrap (I'm a tattoo artist). Finishing it off with some white walls and some red wheels and baby moons (wheel vintiques). You got a great price on the paint job. I have been to 3 painters and got the paint job prices at $2000, $1800 and $1200. I've been researching the flats and satin's for about a month now and can't decide which product to use. Is yours a flat or satin? I've been told to use PPG Flex n' Flat, Simms Hot Rod black, Nappa's Martin Senior's flat from the Prizm Line and now I see yours with the SEM Black and it looks HOT! I'd love to chat with your painter about the SEM product. Anyway you could put us in touch? Congratulations on stepping outside the box and braving a bold killer look! Thanks again - Mark
Its funny how you brought up the painter because he did all the research and ended up not being able to do it so I had to use my back up plan which was a small body shop nearby. My painter was committed to too many other projects at the time and was unable to do it even though he had gone to all the trouble to research the paint for me. He knew the shop that did the paint job for me. The guys at the bodyshop were shocked that I wanted to paint a brand new car in satin, but I love the way it turned out. If my painter had done it, it would have been even less money. He had done alot of work for me on my mustang gt. He is an awesome painter. He said the SEM is the way to go. Thanks again for the complements.
A friend that owns a chopper shop and hot-rods 40s & 50s cars says there's only 1 color WAF.
Flat black
I like shiny or flat (matte) as long as it's black
Like the song during the credits on "Devil's Advocate" says.
Here's the older shot of your car looking like trouble.
