Thumbs up Very Cool!

I'm sorry I don't know much about installing such a device, but you should definitely post links to sound clips of it after you get it installed!!!

I Plan on it!!, I cant wait to get it and put it on, I've wanted the CHARGE! tune on my HHR for a long time, I am starting on doing some mods which include putting racelike decals on it and a big 7 on my doors (front ones). I CAN'T WAIT!!

Check with mitzkitty and karen1953, both have installed aftermarket horns. I think mitzkitty has the same one you bought. Maybe we could have a g2g and help you out. :)

Thanks KD, I am kind of timid when it comes to installations that have wiring harnesses.....I might mess things up and blow Wheelie up in the process, and I don't want to do that! LOL, I'll ask them, If I can find them! =)

Well, I can only tell you what I did. For the control module, I dremeled out a small hole in the center covered cubby and dropped a power and ground wire down to the fuse box tapping into a switched cable and a bolt for ground that is left of the fuse panel. I then used split loom on the wires so the keypad can be pulled out of the cubby and used from the seated position. I then extended the speaker wire that came from the horn itself, and routed that through the rubber grommet in the firewall on drivers side using a coat-hanger. There is another thread on how to get that wire through from another member. The horn itself I was able to mount above the radiator on the drivers side to an existing bolt-hole, but it can also be mounted lower in the facia, or any other open spot under the hood. I can get some pictures this evening if you want.

This is for Mitzkity's car.

I just looked at the link that mitzkitty provided. Is that what you bought? Or did you buy a set of musical air horns? If you bought the electric, you can put that horn anyplace.

If you bought a nice set of musical air horns, point them to the ground.
