I used the gutter guard from Home Depot, cost $2.39. Then I cut the mesh to measure 32". Next, I stuck the mesh behind the front bumper, marked my lines, folded the mesh over the top lip and then the bottom lip. Attached the mesh grill using mechanics wire. I poked three small holes using a push pin on the lower lip of the bumper. then ran the wire through the holes and twisted them together for a nice tight fit.

add my name to the 'gutter guard brigade'.
it's just one of those little mods that can make a big impact

Did mine too a few years back - painted it flat black - well worthwhile doing.

Did this today! Need some right-sized nuts to finish it off, but it looks GREAT as is! Left it natural metal, but paint is not out of the question...

Just finished adding this mod to our new (to us) 06 LT with my son. Grand total: $4.07! Well worth it, as I have a bad track record with A/C condensors. Left the mesh unpainted for now, and it looks pretty good against the sandstone body.

Also took that opportunity to pull off the rear drums and dress them up with some high temp paint.

Always a good idea to adjust the rear brakes since the self-adjusters don't really work right..

edit: my lower gutter guard is still doing well also, same as my painted brakes..
