I know it would come down to personal preference but I am thinking about purchasing and applying a couple vinyls from the linked site. I want the fender stripes and the race flag rocker panel decal.... Any one else like them? I think black accents would look sharp on my orange HHR..... Ideas????

Not a fan of either tbh, but those rally stripes would look fantastic, either in white or black on the orange!

 

I have the fender stripes from a different site, but the same idea. I love mine and black would look great against your orange.

 

Fender stripes are a cool idea. I think black or silver stripes will give a good accent to your orange HHR.

 

I have pretty much decided to actually go with rally stripes but instead of the ones sold through the linked site I am going for a set of stripes that have the pin stripes running alone the outer edge. Only problem is the people from the website haven't emailed me back yet. I still want the rocker panel vinyl eventually but Gregg unfortunately has two decent sized dents in the rear fender flare area of the door that would need to be addressed before applying vinyl in that area.

 

I like this kit a lot better than the one in your first post, as this stripe kit goes all the way to the ground.

It's hard to tell from your gallery pics, but it looks like you do have a sunroof. If so, that's good you won't have to pay the extra cost for the "no sunroof" stripe kit.

This is gonna look great, I love it! I glad I subscribed to your thread, I may go this route, too! What color stripe would you think for a silver car?

 

I FOUND AN EVEN BETTER ONE and I do believe this kit is also from the same guy in the original post I am emailing with him now. I LOVE how this one goes all the way down front and back.

Anyway, with this kit on your Silver SS I would have to say go with Black. I am probably going to go with Gloss black so it fits better with the glossy orange paint haha
