I'm wondering if anybody has painted a two tone where the fenders are different color like the trucks from from the 40-50's ?

I'm wondering what a silver HHR with dark green fenders front and rear would look like ?

There have been several pics posted throughout this site of that..some really slick ones too..problem is, they are scattered and not grouped under one thread..more of random thing

 

I just typed '2 toned HHR' into my browser and came up with plenty of pics like that

 

also try Photo shop! Sound s like it would look real cool!

 

I see one in this area that has the fenders and the bumpers painted but not the running boards. I have been wanting to spray mine like this but can't make up my mind what color. My HHR is the dark gray. I am thinking orangy-red for the lower color.

i've seen a silver one with deeper silver fenders.
first time i saw it i had to take a double take!
if i see it i'll snap a pic

 

I'd say the right color combo can either make it, or break it..

 

I have been kicking that around also. I have a gold hhr and I think maybe a root beer color on the fenders would look good. Keep us up dated
