My ricer comment was premature...although there are many "ricer" wannabe's around my area with similar stripes. They have definitely grown on me and I'm really digging them. They don't look ricey at all on the HHR but if you had some of the other Autozone "stick ons", then rice would be served!

(In my best asian accent)...
"Urhh....no rwice fo' me, gwasshoppa".
No multi-colored lights, no "Limited Edition" emblems, no "NOS" stickers.

No problem.

I like the stripe, was thinking of something like that on the sides of my cowl hood, flat black with maybe a SS cutout. Nice to know I can paint it blue, then try the stripe with plasticote.

It can be purchased two ways (that I am aware).
It comes in rattle-cans and in "used your own sprayer" form.
I went with a rattle can from Home Depot.

Just mask off your pattern (*unless you are spraying the whole car) and spray.
Then, BEFORE the product dries, remove the masking tape to get very clean lines.
If the product dries, it will stick to the tape and you will rip off more than you intended to.

When you get tired of it, just peel it off. It's more-or-less just spray-on rubber. And it can stand up to pressure washing, bugs, etc...

Plenty of videos on YouTube...
And for the most part, this guy has the most in-depth info..

Also, there is at least one member on this forum who did his entire car.

Yeah there's a couple of guys that have dipped their entire cars...I've used it for several things on my wagon including the mirror caps, wheel caps, and I had used it before for some fender stripes but they were short lived.
