Quad tailights done.

Just finished this sat, looks so much better. A few tips if you do it....make a stencil, big hole centered over small to create a donut for tracing purposes. Don't use a dremel! Much easier with a jigsaw. Remove all lights and use lots of masking tape. Also reverse and flip the tailights, and grind the 3 little tits on the housing so you can turn it for the best fit. I'm no bodyman and it took me an hour and a half. Would of gone smoother had I not wasted my time with the dremel...but worth the look. sorry didn't take pics...but you know what it looks like ..I hope

Allen

Finished mine a coupe of weeks ago. I used aviation snips to cut out most of the metal then used a steel grinding bit to finish it off. I didn't have a jig saw.

I like it. Put backup lights down in the reflector. Had one HHR owner pull up and asked me why all my brake lights worked in back.

Those lights aren't cheap. Mine were $30.00 at a salvage yard.

I agree with that, but never considered doing it, I'm happy with the four tails.

To Each His Own.

Some don't like my full moons. My son said they look funky. Others love 'em.

I'll get rid of the handicapped plate soon and get 1HHR1 vanity plate.
