Hello everyone!
I want to buy an aftermarket grill for my 2011 HHR... the one I am interested in is sold on ebay through several vendors, however they all say they only fit up to a 2010. I was wondering if there is any difference in the designs of the grille and hood of a 2011 where this grille wouldn't fit? Any help is greatly appreciated.

HHR has same hood from 2006 till 2011, the LT and LS grilles are different than the SS grille!

 

I figured as much, but wanted to be sure. It's not an SS grille, so I assume it'll fit no problem.

 

The cheaper grilles like I have (under $200) often dont fit that great, you get what you pay for.

 

bought a chrome oem style and a black lower and had no problems at all just check the sellers feedback

 

I bought the Bentley style grill on Ebay $92.00 fit perfect and love it.

 

Will the SS grill fit the LT? Is it a direct swap?

 

Direct swap no. Can it fit with a little effort? Yes. The SS grill is a little bigger top to bottom then the LT grill. So you either have to trim the SS grill or modify the bumper area under the grill to allow the hood to close. There are a few threads on here detailing this.

 

Just so everyone knows, it did not fit. However with some slight modification (i.e. drilling and elbow grease) I got it mounted and it fits perfectly.

 

Its a nice looking grille. Others may want one, could you share how you needed to modify it to fit? Also we love pics of this kind of stuff if you have any.
