After reading this, I took special notice of it while I went on a little road trip yesterday. Had some wind even sitting still... nothing. I have a sunroof and even pulled the "partition" back, exposing the glass while I drove. Still nothing. And to be honest, I don't recall hearing anything when I had my '08 HHR. I don't travel with the radio on and the wife can go hours without talking to me.

Puzzling indeed.

Consider yourself Lucky.
As I mentioned earlier my 2011 1LT w/a 2.2L was noiseless.

SF

P.S. I might have diagnosed why you don't hear it. Your hard of hearing and your wife has been talking to you but you don't hear her either ???

Hmmmm ....

My (CAR) makes a lot of wind noise, both the old 2008 and the 2011. Not the antenna that I can tell, more like the door/window seals maybe the plastic edge pieces on the windshield. If I was particularly sensitive to noises, I would complain; but, I drove OLD VW beetles and Karmann Ghias for many years so wind noise kinda don't matter.

I don't have any passenger capability in my cars, so the wife is off the hook.
