Rear reflectors ? delema

ok so i did some painting today made all the signal red reflectors "white" like capp's look.
What can i do for the rear reflectors to look clean but still stay legal
their are way to many cops around here to go tinted with out getting a ticket!
thinking about white but in a kinda see thru material?
any ideas thoughts?

Just use some perforated window vinyl. looks solid from a distance, but still allows light to pass through. I used some silver for the top of my windshield, turned out alright.

I'm interested in some of this in silver also. Where did ya find the silver?

Since a vast number of new cars don't even have bumper reflectors I don't think that is a ticketable item. Now altering brake lights, headlights, turn signals can be as those are required safety equipment however since a lot of autos don't have bumper reflectors I cannot see those being mandated otherwise vehicles without them would be illegal from the factory. by all means check your local and state laws before doing anything but it only seems common sense to me.

I think the bumper reflectors on the HHR are more pertinent due to the tail lights not having reflectors built in.

for that info now to find out the cost i know it's $$ bucks for the rear window
