I agree with Sindy, but if aluminum or stainless wasn't too expensive, I's buy that too. I love the look you would get with those (I'm assuming we're talking about the rings).

 

I would like Chrome, but if the aluminum was highly polished or the plastic was chrome look I would buy that as well. Then again I have the satin chrome finish so something matching that may be best depending on how it looked. Whatever it is the material must hold up to weather obviously.

 

Not interested in any changes (I know I can be dull at times).

 

I put molded plastic. It is lighter and sure to be less exspensive. As long as it is Chrome finished.

 

Crome or SS would be my preference.

 

I would like to see anything that is manufactured well, seamless, sticks where you put it, and is corrosion resisitant. The last is a very important factor anywhere they use road salt. (for you folks without real winter, salt melts snow and ice, otherwise known as "chunky water and frozen solid water" )

 

I voted plastic, but agree with Firewatcher. I'll buy whichever, as long as it is well made, seamless, sticks and matches the bright chrome or satin chrome trims, whichever you may have.

 

Ditto again to firewatcher! It must be seamless, and sticks where it is put and is corrosion resistant.

Thanks Deb for starting the poll. I had thought of doing it but got caught up in work the last few days. I was thinking of framing the question by price and type, but did not know where to begin.

I voted for cast metal, but would be fine with good looking chrome plastic.
Gotta get those "eggrings" , you know, like the ones used to make Egg-a-muffins at the big M.

 

Stainless would be ideal but I'd live with polished aluminum

 

plastic wont last in any kind of real sun
aliminum is ok but it dulls over time unless you polish and clear coat it

stainless is forever and can be made to look new and Barkeepers Friend makes stainless look good as new w no scratches
