Thanks for all the great input you guys. Hopefully this will be resolved one day and I'll have real trim rings instead of the chrome rope.

 

sorry that i didn't see your poll deb, I have been working 14 hrs plus nearly every day since the mid-central run and I forgot that you had already done this. If all goes well, we should know soon if I was successful in getting any leads in the elusive trim ring saga.

preferrable a metal (lasts longer) but as said before, as long as it is a chrome or satin finish I will buy it!

I have to agree with 'ivtech' on this one...I would leave mine alone, I don't like the look of a ring around them...
