Does anyone know if GM Part #19169603 Side Steps are actually running boards? I want the SS style side effects but I am having a hard time locating them. I have looked at the Razzi ones on line but have read the threads on the displeasures of them. Does anyone know the GM part of the SS style?

Actually they are fancy rocker panels (for the SS) and I wouldn't step on them.

And I never step on the running boards on my panel either. Mostly for looks. Kids may use them though.

Exactly Boydie. They're not for stepping.

I had to "train" myself how to get out of tmy SS when I bought it. It's very easy to step out and drag your feet on them and scratch them.
If I have any passengers(which is very rare) I try to warn them about getting in and out.
Forgot to tell my son-in-law about them the only time he rode in mine. Got my one and only scratch because I forgot.
