So I thought I would share my latest project - LED accent lighting in the front door map pockets.
OK, I know the appeal of adding accent lighting is debatable (it can look cheap), but I happened to have a set of blue LED light bars and nothing to do with them, so in they went. But the set I had were meant to be plugged into the power port, and there was no way I was going to do anything that cheesy looking. So I made the effort to have it be somewhat more OEM looking.
Short story, I hot glued the light bars to the top, inside of the map pockets and ran the wires up to tap off the backlight for the power lock switch. Now my accent lighting is coincident with the the other night lighting.
