New Cobalt wheel...

I Finally got around to getting a new steering wheel for the Panel. I have been waiting until I could get a good deal on one (I am kind of cheap that way). I got this one off our favorite auction sight for $65 shipped. This thing is brand new. Nice leather. It was still wrapped up and had the bonnet still on it. Cant wait to get it installed this weekend.

Sweet, the best way to go, so much easier than buying the controls seperate and trying to fit the little wires in the littler openings .....

Enjoy ,

I seriously want to try to do that also! Are the Cobalt's bigger or smaller than stock?

Looks awesome!

Leather, smaller, and radio controls...cheaper than adding them to our stock wheel?

Okay, I'm convinced...adding it to the list.

I've got the leather and radio controls, but smaller would be cool. Don't think I could justify spending the money unless it was considerably smaller.

Hi all. I installed the new wheel today. Everything seems to work but the airbag light is on and it has the check airbag warning on the dic. I have checked the thread on installing the buttons to the stock wheel and can find nothing. Someone else had the same issue but there seemed to be no reply.

UPDATE: I went back and rechecked everything. The only thing I did differently the second time was make sure the little yellow clips that push onto the back of the airbag terminals were installed. I had not put them in on the initial install. They must play some part. Either that or the connectors were not making good contact the first time. Either way everything is working great. Cruise, turn signals, radio controls. What a fantastic upgrade. Leather and all for only $65! You guys/gals are great with all of the info.
