Opinion: Accent color

I have a white 2011 HHR with ebony interior. Wanting to paint some of the interior panels for accent.

Looking at 2 possible colors. I have always liked the Orange sunburst HHRs but couldn't get one in the 2011. i am thinking of using that as my accent color. how would this look for accents on ebony?

White is my second choice.

What color would look best? Opinions

IMO the orange interior will stick out like a sore thumb. If you are set on painting some of your interior, I'd go with white to complement the exterior. You may even be able to find a white carbon fiber kit for the interior.

That was my concern with the orange is that it would over power.

The only way I could see orange for an interior accent, would be if you had orange on the outside.Ex: orange stripes on the white.
The 69(?) Camaro Pace car comes to mind. I think it was some combo of the white/orange/black.

Pleather not Paint...

I personaly think it looks more professional to pleather the interior pieces
it gives them more of a clean look then just painting everything.
or dip the pieces in CF coverings also looks good & clean.
just my 2 cents!

I do love the look of the dip CF. Betting it is damn expensive to do though.

I agree with firemangeorge. If you had some sort of exterior graphics, be it orange racing stripes or lower door stripes, then the orange interior accents would have an "anchor" to tie them all together. Afterall, the orange/white combo *IS* a traditional Chevy look.

Failing that, I vote for some of that "classy" realtree pattern camoflage that I saw on that Dip****zhydrographics site. I swear it won't turn your car into a redneck-mobile!
