I think that SS auto has the armrest, 5 spd doesn't.

Somebody will correct me.

That is my understanding also. I have 5-speed, no armrests. The pic RF2 posted on page 2 of this thread shows armrests and auto.

I don't think any of the 2010 SS seats had armrests, auto or 5 speed. But, then again the 2010's all had the performance seats so that could be why.
Not 100% on this, so correct me if I'm wrong.

The OP mudbilly said he would put his LT armrests on if needed. Only problem there is that they wouldn't be a "match" material wise. Pretty sure the SS seats with armrests had armrests with material to match the unique SS seat material.

I am not concerned about the material, I think I can get a local shop to make these with a close enough match, or complimentary color.

It looks like I can swap over my passenger side LT armrests, because it is attached via the plastic assembly that also is used to let the seat fold down/forward.

But on the drivers side, there would have to be a threaded female connection on the side of the seat to bolt that one on. If it is there, I could figure out a way of getting through the fabric and finishing the opening. So I guess what I really need to know is if there is an attachment point already on the side of the seat.

I do see the armrests in RF's post, so now I just need to confirm that the 2010 seats have this available.

That is if I go with those. I am still pretty torn between the solid black and the red highlights. Neither of these sets are perfect, and I am dealing by email pics, so it is hard to tell how they will clean up. I found another set in Oklahoma, waiting to hear back from them on quality and shipping.

On my 2010 performance drivers seat, all I feel is foam in that area. I pushed on the fabric in that area and never hit anything solid. I could push in about an inch to inch and half.
Don't think there's any armrest bolt up place made into my seats.

Well, I gave up looking for SS seats, at least for the time being. I couldn't find any that were in nice enough shape, or close enough to go see. So, I opted for replacing the foam in the drivers, Which I hope makes my butt not get so uncomfortable. Like I think I mentioned, I have 227,000 miles in the seat, and drive 50 miles each way to work & back every day.

I won't know till Monday if it made a difference, The old foam didn't really look that bad, but it was sunk som in the saddle and it seemed to be softer.

Thanks for all the advice, help, and a special call out to the poster that has the thread on re-doing the seats upholstery. It help make me decide to try and do this myself. Once he said that you didn't have to take everything apart to do it.
