1 inch square tubing/stock

it may be kinda tight. or 2 x 1 inch tube/stock will give you a little more room for washers, nuts , sockets, and the seats will only be inch higher off the floor. this is assuming the where they mount is all the same hieght, if not then you may need to cut/have 4 pieces per seat, maybe ony 2 if there is only 2 different hieght mounting areas.it's kinda hard for me to explane-for each mounting bolt there will be 4 holes drilled in the tube. 2 where it bolts to the seat , and 2 where it bolts to the floor. 1 hole for the bolt, anouther larger for access. it may sound confusing and tricky, thats because it just may be. i am sorry if it is confusing. i am pretty sure it will work , and remember, it is not safe to have seats flying around. i slamed on brakes in a 67 mustang 1 time and the spare tire (that wasn't mounted) came flying through the car. it it knocked the back seat out and hit hit me and knocked me into the dash. you bolt the tube to the seat 1st, and then bolt the tube to the floor. it may require some fancy measuring, and cutting off part of the seat bolts.(if they stick out longer than the tube is wide) a couple of washers in between the seat mount and tube may also fix , but that would make the seat sit up that much higher- 1/4 in or whatever. come on over i'll help ya!

Just curious....

...but what's with this fetish of putting rear seats in a panel?? I purposly bought my panel so I wouldn't have rear seats. Plus, being so closed in, it's only a matter of time before your passenger in the back yells, "PULL OVER. I have to BLAAAAAAAK!!!!!!!" LOL

if you get

2 pass side , at least they will still fold flat. i wouldn't mind have the regular rear seats in my panel, they will fit perfect and still fold. the bucket s sound cool if both were power or if both fold flat. or both. my 2lt only has power on drivers side. like my passengers are not worhty or somthin' .

My thoughts are on the height of the seat backs. You may want to fit them first, they will be blocking out more of the back window and may even hit the ceiling.

Cool Update.... Bucket seats in rear seat position

GOOOD LUCK , If you are going to try this you need to use a different seat than a stock one
the wheel wells will have to be cut to make them fit properly so it's back to a regular bench for me
