Windows always hot? Or push button relocation?

Can I switch the windows to always be on and not need the key in the ignition? Either always on or will add a master toggle/bat/rocker/latching switch somewhere to turn them on.... Also can I relocate the switches to push buttons somewhere else in the car? Are the triggers just 12v+ for up/down? Any info appreciated.

You can move the switches from the door in your 2010 , just a lot of wires to lengthen. As for changing the power source, that is also feasible.

You can do anything you want, as long as you have knowledge, time and money.
Here is a pdf of the window circuit, the knowledge part.

Are you interested in just the driver window, or all of them?

Would like to move all of them but for now I would just like to make them hot 24/7

I'm guessing I just gotta find the ignition turn on wire for the door? Or rather just have all of them on a toggle switch maybe...idk how much battery drain it would cause having the windows hot all the time.

would like to eliminate the driver switch panel since the rear windows almost never roll down at the driver panel. Specifically the rear left

Always hot shouldn’t drain the battery.

Did you notice the pdf? Did I waste my time once again?
